A Note from the Boy Scouts Ethan Allen District
I am reaching out to you on behalf of the Ethan Allen District Committee. I believe you know some of the Scouters that donate their time and efforts to support scouting across Addison, Rutland, and Bennington counties. The goal of the committee is to ensure that the units within the District are well supported with training, recruiting, fundraising, and leadership assistance. These are critical support functions to ensure that all units within the district are strong and functioning at a level to offer the youth the best possible program.

Colchester Lions & Food From the Heart
Colchester Lions coordinated several Food from the Heart Food Shelf collections at Dick Mazza’s General Store, Price Chopper/Market 32 and Dollar General in Malletts Bay 
Colchester during February/March.
Spearheaded by DG/Lion Ken Emery plus King Lion Carmelita Belisle, Lions Lois Johnson, Val Johnson and Michael Cabral, we collected and donated 962 pounds for our Colchester Community Food Shelf. This also included non-perishable items like dog and cat food, tooth paste and tooth brushes, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent and household cleaners.

2020 Lions International Convention Cancelled

2020 Lions International Convention Cancelled
The Board of Directors has voted to cancel the 2020 Lions International Convention due to concerns about the coronavirus (COVID-19). This means that the next International Convention will be held in 2021 in Montreal, Canada.
